The Charles Causley Trust
The Challenge
Charles Causley is acknowledged as one of the finest twentieth century English poets. The Charles Causley Trust exists to keep his memory alive and to promote writing in the community and region in which he lived. A central focus of the work of the trust is the continued development of Charles Causley’s house in Launceston, Cornwall, and its preservation and interpretation for future generations.
Matrix were tasked with re-evaluating the trust’s online presence along with a complete re-brand.
The Project
Matrix digitised Charles Causley’s signature for use in the new branding and developed a new colour palette.
The website was redesigned and rebuilt from the ground up with a new, easy-to-use blog (crammed with bespoke functionality!) at the heart of the homepage.
The admin capabilities of the website and the ability to have total control and flexibilty over page content were particularly important parts of the project.
The Result
Along with the website, Matrix also produced stationery and a handbook for guests staying at the house, containing everything they need to know during their stay.
